Northwestern engineers just built a drone designed to become incredibly difficult to see while it’s flying. 👀 Called Phantom Twist, the drone rotates almost its entire body at up to 25 times per second, while its propeller spins in the opposite direction to maintain stability. The result is a drone that visually blends into a faint, hard-to-track blur. During testing, Phantom Twist was reportedly around 10 times less visible than a conventional quadcopter. AI also played a role in the design process, helping researchers explore thousands of possible configurations for components like the battery, motor, and other hardware. It isn’t completely invisible, but future versions could potentially become even harder to detect in the air. The idea of drones that can almost disappear while flying is seriously wild. 🤯 What do you think about this technology? 🤔💬 👉👉Follow aiupdates.hub for daily insights that keep you ahead in AI, Tech and Robotics #DroneTechnology #Robotics #AIDesign...
