Max Caster and Anthony Bowens's AEW contracts expire October 1, and there have been no negotiations on new ones, per fightfulonline. Fightful, which first reported the expiration date, said Wednesday that in following up on their status, it "was told that there haven't been negotiations about a new deal, or word that new deals will be offered, or not offered for that matter." The two signed with AEW in November 2020 and formed The Acclaimed that year, winning the AEW World Tag Team Championship and, with Billy Gunn, the World Trios Championship at All In: London in 2023. They split in January 2025, reunited on Collision that fall, and last teamed on AEW TV in November. Caster has not wrestled for AEW in 2026; his last match was the Diamond Ring battle royal on December 17. He has worked independents since, including a March House of Glory show where he and Bowens teamed as The Acclaimed.
