Vince Russo says he has parted ways with Juggalo Championship Wrestling.
In a statement posted to X on Tuesday night, Russo said he’d been unhappy in JCW for a while and needed time before addressing it. “Without getting into specifics, there were a lot of reasons with the biggest one being that at 65 . . . I’m not the same guy I was 30 years ago. Things have changed, life has changed and more importantly . . . I’ve changed.”
“A short while ago I had a phone conversation with Violent J and we have amicably agreed to part ways. Hey man, it was supposed to be for a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, but we KILLED IT for an entire year.”
He thanked Violent J, “one of the kindest, gentlest, most creative souls I have ever met in my life,” the JCW locker room and the crew. “Yeah, it was a wild ride . . . but, now . . . maybe I can finally take that nap.”
Russo joined JCW in a creative role last year.
