Adding some more hardware to the trophy case 🥉 5000m and 10000m world record holder Joshua Cheptegei had arguably the strongest showing of his roads career today in Copenhagen, running 58:26 for bronze in the World Road Running Championships half marathon. Cheptegei took just under a minute off his PB which had stood since 2020, and he now ranks inside the 20 fastest men in history at the distance. He’ll add this medal to a collection that already includes seven global medals on the track and five from the cross country course. 📸 stonemalick
