Set It Off, Louder Than Life 2026
LIVE REVIEW: A wall of death at a Set It Off show? It’s now a mandatory occurrence, and who would ever have thought that a few years ago?
But with the trio now having a set as fantastically heavy as the one they have at their disposal, it’s impossible not to get caught up in the chaos.
It’s clear just how much the band loves the darkness they inhabit these days, with every song but one pulled from their 2025 self-titled record. And you can feel it in the way that the devilish grin plastered across Cody Carson’s lips grows with every savage takedown that leaves them, delivered as if the people who inspired the bile at the core of ‘Evil People’ and ‘Fake Ass Friends’ are out there in the masses before him. It’s ramped up another level with a razor-sharp ‘Pathological’ and a celebratory ‘Punching Bag’, the latter feeling like a proud middle finger to anyone who ever doubted the band could reach this level and beyond.
Rounded off with a bludgeoning versio...
