AMALGAM | FEATURED ARTIST — GIACOMO BEVANATI As part of our ongoing editorial series highlighting selected artists from AMALGAM: Contemporary Jewellery in Hybrid Systems, we introduce Giacomo Bevanati — a wire artist based between Manchester and Córdoba, Spain, whose practice moves between fine art, body architecture and avant-garde wearable sculpture. With a background in Product Design and Architecture, Giacomo brings an understanding of structure, tension and spatial volume into a highly distinctive form of craftsmanship. Through a self-taught freehand sewing and stitching technique, he transforms industrial brass and steel wire into intricate, transparent volumes that exist somewhere between jewellery, sculpture and architecture.
