Under Friday night lights at Memorial Stadium, Cal fell 24-10 to Clemson in its fourth game of the season. Both teams entered the game with two wins and one loss under their belts, but the Tigers’ team chemistry ultimately overpowered the Bears.
In an unusual yet Cal-esque turn of events, the Bears’ only touchdown wasn’t accumulated by offensive players. Instead, it was earned by linebacker Kamar Mothudi, who recovered a fumble caused by Isaih Crosby at the 10-minute mark and ran it 35 yards to the house.
The loss continues to project a rough ACC season for Cal’s, but perhaps it can claim a win in the matchup against UNLV next Saturday, Oct. 3, at 12:30 p.m.
