ONE YEAR AGO TODAY, the State of Hawaii recognized George “Fiji” Veikoso declaring September 13th as FIJI DAY 🇫🇯🌺 Fiji was bigger than music. That night represented something deeper 50 years of music, culture, sacrifice, and a state of mind for the 50th State and beyond. It was a reminder that music is more than what we hear. It carries our stories. It preserves where we come from. It connects generations and gives a voice to people and places that the world may otherwise never know. Sending love to every artist, musician, friend, and family member whose life was touched, inspired, and forever influenced by the GOAT 🐐 — VINAKA VAKALEVU.
