As her mom, I love seeing her be part of events like this. The Golden Gala is a fashion show featuring 60 models, all with different types of disabilities. It’s a beautiful celebration of inclusion, but it’s also a very important fundraiser for the adaptive programs in our community. The Golden Gala is put on by the City of Mesa and City of Chandler Adaptive Programs in collaboration with Arizona Disabled Sports, helping provide opportunities for people with disabilities to participate, compete, connect, and thrive.
