Flock Safety cameras are marketed as a tool to help police solve crimes, but Business Insider found that errors and failures to verify its alerts have put innocent people in harm's way. Elsewhere, we identified drivers who'd been stopped, injured, or jailed after Flock leads went wrong. Flock says its alerts are investigative leads, not definitive proof. 00:00 - Intro 01:15 - How Flock Cameras Work 02:44 - Roseville, California 05:12 - Toledo, Ohio 07:19 - Maurice Walters' Arrest 11:56 - Suwanee PD and Flock's Response 13:11 - Reaction in Roseville 15:09 - Credits Read "In one California town, Flock misread license plates in 71% of the alerts it sent to police": bit.ly/4yZj5X2 ------------------------------------------------------ #flockcameras #flocksafety #aisecurity #surveillancecameras #dispatch WATCH MORE FROM "DISPATCH": We Followed A Drone...
