2020... my family started the year off in the hospital because my grandmother fell and dislocated her arm. On that day, I told her that we will be there to help her at all costs and that the year will end up a little better than it started. A couple months later, our country was forced to shutdown due to Covid-19. This virus has hurt many families and I pray that somehow or someway they can recover from these tough times. . . With that being said, in early August I was fortunate enough to have a great friend of mine frankiegonz10 present to me with an opportunity that I could not refuse to take. He reached out and asked if I was willing to finish my degree because this would probably be the only time to do so considering my baseball schedule. This was a no brainer, so I jumped right on it and hit the ground running in the middle of our modified baseball season. . . As this may not seem like a big deal to many, for me it was everything.
