A driver miss is easier to manage when it has a pattern. For Tim, the problem was not knowing which one would show up. Tim works with Titleist experts and @meandmygolf. to see how GTS adjustability helps control club face closure in this episode of Solving the Puzzle.
Some swings finished high and right. Others turned over quickly and left. The club path stayed surprisingly consistent, but the face was telling a different story. Two shots could finish far apart even when the swing numbers looked close, which made the driver hard to trust and brought the four iron into play earlier than Tim wanted.
Solving that puzzle meant looking beyond forgiveness alone. A more forgiving driver head can help protect ball speed and stability, but it does not always fix how the face returns to the ball. For Tim, the key was finding a GTS setup that helped the club close at the right time and reduced the need to fight the face through impact.
The flight starts to look more playable almost immediately...
