Nothing like breaking in a brand-new table saw on the VERY first cut… 😭 First piece of plywood through my new Hilti table saw and everything was going perfectly. What I didn’t see was the nail sticking out underneath the plywood. The blade never touched it… but the brand-new tabletop sure did. One pass later and I’ve already got a nice gouge running across the top. 😂 I guess there’s no worrying about keeping it perfect anymore. It’s officially a work tool now. Tools are meant to be used, scratched, and put to work… I just would’ve liked the brand-new stage to last a little longer.
