There’s something way too satisfying about watching this tool work… This is the Tracer Contour Gauge, and while I’m only running it over a few Tracer pencils here, it gives you a perfect look at exactly what this tool is designed to do. As you press it down, the pins move around each object and recreate the profile underneath. On an actual project, that can make transferring awkward shapes and contours onto flooring, trim, tile, or other materials a whole lot easier. Simple tool. Simple idea. Extremely satisfying to watch.
