“Trophy Gag” (2026) • Threw in this piece for Critique #1 this past Tuesday alongside 89 images for the ongoing thesis work “Father Figure[d].” Taken 1 hour before leaving for Berlin in June. Contemplating the ways in which assemblage in the domestic space bleeds into daily life and both is a staging/performance of and within itself. • Intrigued with the following: • How much ownership or responsibility do we have over our bodies? • How is the queer body both an escapee and a participant? • Is the AMAB body always rendered masculine?
