We all fall short of the glory of God, but through Christ we can repent and be redeemed. In Mosiah 4, we see the people of King Benjamin ask for forgiveness, and in doing so, their desires align more closely with the Lord’s. Everything they had came from the Lord. King Benjamin reminded them that Christ showed them mercy, so they should live humbly and serve others generously.
