We sometimes get the wrong idea that before we share the gospel, things need to be perfect—the perfect people, the perfect time, the perfect situation, saying the exact right things. But God doesn’t need us to be perfect. He meets us right where we are, especially when we’re struggling or feeling broken. When Bradley first heard the gospel, his life was far from perfect. That’s why the promise in Ether 12:27 meant so much to him. He realized that God could take his weaknesses and turn them into strengths.
