When Katie’s friends invited her to read the Book of Mormon, she didn’t know what to expect. But she immediately felt peace. So much of the Book of Mormon felt familiar to Katie’s upbringing. Here was the “same Jesus with the same scars in His hands and side teaching the same gospel” (3 Nephi 11). There were also things that felt new. Here were the “other sheep” that Christ spoke of in the New Testament (John 10:16). It felt like she had found the missing half of the story.
