Boston’s first full moon of fall arrives this weekend, but whether you’ll actually see it is another question. The Harvest Moon reaches peak illumination at 12:49 p.m. Saturday and is expected to rise over Boston around 6:21 p.m. Time and Date Normally, that would make Saturday evening a great time to look up. But a nor’easter is expected to bring heavy rain, strong winds and plenty of cloud cover to Massachusetts throughout the weekend, meaning views of the moon could be limited. The good news? The moon will still appear nearly full Sunday night, so there may be another opportunity to catch it once conditions improve. By the way, we have a weekly newsletter rounding up what’s worth doing and knowing about in Boston. One newsletter. Once a week. Link in bio. Media via Shutterstock #mustdoboston #bostonmoon
