Boston’s first weekend of fall could be a stormy one.
CBS Boston is tracking a potential nor’easter that could bring rain, strong winds and coastal flooding to parts of Massachusetts beginning Saturday, September 26. Depending on the storm’s track, the effects could linger into early next week.
Coastal areas, including the North Shore, Cape Cod and the Islands, could see the strongest winds and roughest surf. Forecasters say several inches of rain are also possible in eastern Massachusetts, but totals remain uncertain.
Have outdoor plans? It’s worth making a backup plan rather than cancelling just yet. The storm’s exact path, timing and impacts could change as the forecast develops.
