Robin’s Home, a Butler nonprofit that provides needy female veterans with transitional housing and other services, formally unveiled a newly renovated kitchen space at its location on Pearl Street on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23.
The home, which has enough space for six adults, opened its doors in July 2019, and has been transformed both inside and outside over the years. Hayley Merchant, of the Center for Community Resources — one of Robin’s Home’s partner organizations — said the kitchen was one of the last parts of the home to be renovated.
One of those who contributed was Drew Mooney, of Mooney’s Custom Woodworking. Mooney says every effort was taken by laborers to utilize the limited space to the maximum.
