Tennis Ball Review: Slazenger Wimbledon Ball This was the BEST ball I have ever used… for 10 minutes… then it became one of them worst I have ever used. The bounce test came in at 26.5 inches (~66cm) before and 25 inches (~63.5 cm) after playing for 2.5 hours. The consistency is impressive give each ball weighed exactly 58g. The first 10 minutes with these balls were nothing short of incredible. But then the performance fell off a cliff. I have never seen balls fluff more than these! It was insane and the balls became so slow low because of it. Seeing a trend with these super expensive premium tennis balls. They’re good only if you change them after every changeover! I’ll give them another shot on grass (their intended surface even tho it’s approved for both grass and hard courts). After cutting them open, I quality of the rubber was the best I have seen so far and it looks like they might of have been glued. I saw no glue!
