Have the manhole divers returned? The NYPD investigated after a group of people emerged from a sewer on Park Avenue at East 61st Street — near a hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had originally been planning to stay, before a schedule change. Despite causing a security concern related to the UN General Assembly, the NYPD said the incident appeared to be similar to others in recent months, where people have been spotted going into the sewer system apparently looking for scrap metal and valuables. #nyc #nbc4ny #manhattan #sewer
