An Arizona man is accused of turning a traffic stop into a muddy mess with his dog riding shotgun 😭 Police say 57-year-old Gregory Smit was clocked going 80 in a 60, but instead of pulling over right away, he kept driving until his F-150 ended up off the road and completely stuck in the mud. And he wasn’t alone. His dog was in the truck with him the entire time. Officers say Smit eventually got out with the dog, told police he was “good,” and claimed he drove off the road because he was trying to find a “safe spot to park.” Police say they smelled alcohol on him, noticed signs of impairment and later discovered his license was already suspended. He was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI, unlawful flight and other charges.
