A 36-year-old Arizona man is accused of abducting a 15-year-old girl and driving her hundreds of miles across state lines before police tracked his car down.
Authorities say Dalton Renollet of Maricopa was found with the teen on Interstate 90 in South Dakota after license plate cameras detected his vehicle.
Wyoming investigators were reportedly already looking into allegations that an out-of-state adult had been grooming the girl online before she disappeared.
Police initially believed Renollet could be taking her back toward Arizona. Instead, cameras spotted his vehicle in South Dakota and troopers pulled him over less than ONE HOUR after authorities there were alerted.
The 15-year-old was found safe.
Renollet was arrested and charged in South Dakota with sexual contact with a minor, while authorities say additional charges are expected in Wyoming.
Crazy part is how fast they found them once the plate cameras picked up his car.
