A dinner with Blessed Fulton Sheen. That’s my mom 🙂🫶 Blessed Fulton Sheen was Bishop of my hometown of Rochester, NY from 1966-1969. Today, he will be beatified in St. Louis, one step from sainthood in the Catholic Church. The footage is home video from my grandfather and the book (kind of cool it’s now a 3rd class relic) is signed: “To the Sullivan Family. A Token of Gratitude. God Love You. Fulton Sheen.” Fulton Sheen’s talks and books have played a significant role in my life and deepening of my faith, especially his book on Mary called “The World’s First Love.” He was truly a pioneer in using media to evangelize and share the Gospel.
