I won the Community Champion award at Pride of the North tonight 🥹❤️ I’m still trying to take it in. I was a finalist alongside Janice Jinks, and I wanted to honour her in my speech. Janice is a real inspiration in our community. She was the lady who encouraged me and guided me towards launching my community company. I’ll always be grateful to her for believing I could do it ❤️ To every woman who voted for me, comes to a class, brings a friend or supports what we do, thank you. This award is for you too. A special thank you to Louise, Sarah, Gill and all the members who help me set up and do the jobs I struggle to manage on my own. I couldn’t do this without you.
