Meta just introduced Muse Charm, a pocket sized device built to keep its Muse AI agent with you without constantly reaching for your phone.
The device supports real time voice interaction, displays Meta’s Jolly avatar, includes fingerprint access, and is expected to begin shipping in December 2026.
What makes this interesting is not the hardware alone.
Muse is designed to act more like an agent than a chatbot. It can help with tasks, continue working in the background, and increasingly operate across digital services on a user’s behalf.
Charm gives that intelligence a dedicated physical endpoint.
That is the larger signal.
AI assistants are beginning to move off the screen and into devices designed around persistent access to an agent.
If that trend works, the next major computing interface may not be another app.
It may be something you simply carry with you.
