Last week, Barry Keoghan's latest film, 'Lemonade,' a devastating independent drama about the foster care system in Ireland, premiered at
#TIFF.
Keoghan executive-produced the film, directed by Kim Bartley, through his Wolfcub Productions shingle; as the actor tells GQ, it’s a deeply personal project for him, as he was raised in foster care himself. “I was just digging deep,” he says of playing a social worker, “because I remember them being very gentle and caring figures to me when I didn't have those parental figures around.”
At the link in bio, Keoghan hops on Zoom with GQ's zackhauptman during a break from filming four star-studded Beatles biopics to explain what drew him to 'Lemonade.'
