Rolling out 4 colors of ink with a brayer on the ink stone in preparation for letterpress printing in the print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum. The order from left to right is red, yellow, blue, and purple. Orange and green were created as the ink was rolled out. As Jared demonstrates, this is done to create an even layer of ink on the ink stone and brayer. The remaining ink at the top of the stone will gradually be rolled out as more prints are made. Stay tuned for how the prints turn out. This press run involved some Dolly Parton prints! #rainbow #asmr #SacHistoryMuseum #museum #printing
