On This Day: Nov 20 2015 The CD/DVD BoxSet of RUSH R40 Live was released. Compiled from two home town shows from Toronto Canada on June 17&19 with bonus tracks. I was lucky enough to be on the road with the band photographing several shows and was asked to start thinking about shooting a possible cover for something such as this. The cover would have to contain all three of the musicians of course not easy task. There was a spot in the show when Alex and Geddy would get up on the drum riser and it was just a matter of wether Neil would be seen between his drum cymbals. After several shows and hundreds of photos to pick from this is the final results that would become the cover for the boxset. This photo was taken in Chicago at the United Center on June 12 2015. #RJphotography #rush rush #geddylee #alexlifeson #neilpeart #r40 #r40livetour #concertphotography #R40 CD/BluRay #concert geddyimages
