I was asked recently how I got started into concerts photography. Back in college ‘83’84 & ‘85 I was photographing for the Daily Trojan the college newspaper. I would be given the assignment if they might need a photograph for an album review or concert review, etc. It was a good foundation for what was about to happen after my retirement. Getting back into photography after I retired the door opened a little bit more for some of the bands and artist that I got to photograph. I never did anything with the images,sometimes the artist would like a few to maybe post for social media so I always shared what I took. Just the ability to go to a show and photograph and work on my photography and listen to music was really what it was about. Thankful for the opportunity that presented itself over the years. I’ve Never taken it for granted since my retirement,my photography has broadened out considerably over the years to travel photography,landscape,wildlife,concerts & motorsports. That’s how ...
