On Friday, Sept 18, an ironworking “Topping Off” ceremony was held outside what will become the new Illini Hall. Staff, faculty, and students stopped by to sign the final beam. The beam was then hoisted into position, completing the ironwork portion of this project. See you soon, Illini Hall! 🧡💙 #illinois #summerconstruction #illini #goillini #uiuc #universityofillinois #champaign #champaignurbana #urbana #chambana
