We are excited to welcome Lis Sam to the Carousel family, with his works making their debut during our presentation at the inaugural Chicago Art Fair before continuing on to our other locations. Lis Sam is a self-taught artist whose practice brings together photography, sculpture, nature, and optical illusion. His signature works are inspired by the movement of butterflies, seen throughout his celebrated “Blossoming Girls” series. Through intricate compositions of flowers, butterflies, and feminine forms, Lis Sam creates works that shift with the viewer’s perspective, revealing something new from every angle.
