CARB CYCLING: EAT FOR THE WORK YOU’RE DOING 💪🏽🍚 Carbs aren’t the enemy—they’re fuel. I adjust how much I eat based on what I’m asking my body to do. Heavy leg day, sprints, a long run or a high-volume session? That likely be a higher-carb day. A deload workout or running errands can be moderate. Rest and recovery days including office work only days may need fewer carbs—but not zero. The goal is to: ⚡ Support energy and training output 🏋🏽 Keep muscle glycogen available for hard sessions 🔁 Refill glycogen and support recovery 🎯 Match your fuel more closely to your workload A high-carb day isn’t a cheat day, and carb cycling isn’t metabolic magic. Your total calories, protein, food quality and consistency still do the real work. Save this for your next training week. Would you try carb cycling?
