What does it actually mean to be a good man? For a lot of men, the answer they were given was some version of: provide, protect, fix, handle it. And while those instincts can come from a beautiful place, they can also become a trap. In this conversation with stefanossifandos , we talk about what happens when a man’s desire to support the people he loves turns into taking responsibility for their emotions, their problems and their outcomes. Because constantly rescuing someone isn’t necessarily love. Sometimes it’s control. And sometimes the pressure to always be the strong one, the provider, the problem-solver, is keeping men inside a role that doesn’t actually serve them OR the people they love. We get into masculinity, responsibility, the drama triangle, and what it looks like for men to show up with strength without believing they have to carry everything. A fascinating conversation with Stefanos on this week’s COACHED: Coaching Masters. Listen wherever you get your podcasts ...
