Troy Polamalu didn’t play safety like anybody else. Dude looked like he was freelancing half the time, yet somehow always ended up exactly where the football was. 😭 In 12 seasons, Polamalu finished with 32 INTs, 14 forced fumbles and 12 sacks, made 8 Pro Bowls, earned 4 First-Team All-Pro selections, won Defensive Player of the Year in 2010 and helped Pittsburgh win TWO Super Bowls. (Pro Football Hall of Fame) But the stats still don’t explain him. Jumping over offensive lines, disguising coverages, blowing up plays before they developed and seemingly appearing out of nowhere became normal. There have been plenty of great safeties. There has only ever been ONE Troy Polamalu. 🐐 Where does he rank all-time at safety? 👀 #TroyPolamalu #Steelers #HereWeGo #NFL #NFLHistory
