Marcus Mariota might genuinely be one of the best backup QBs you could ask for With Jayden Daniels out, Mariota stepped in against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks and went 19-of-31 for 183 yards, 3 TDs and ZERO turnovers, posting a 110.0 passer rating as Washington pulled off the 33-31 upset and snapped Seattle’s 12-game winning streak. (NFL) And somehow Mariota just owns Seattle. He’s now 3-0 in his NFL starts against the Seahawks, winning with Tennessee, Atlanta and Washington. (Field Gulls) He might not be your franchise QB anymore, but when QB1 goes down and you need somebody who can actually come in and WIN? There aren’t many backups I’d trust more than Marcus Mariota. 👀 #MarcusMariota #Commanders #NFL #RaiseHail #NFLFootball (via lac3d.edits on TT)
