Be prepare Hoboken, NJ A nor’easter is predicted for the area this weekend. 🌀 Storm predictions are often a false alarm (for those who are going to comment that Hoboken floods often even with a little rain), but I lived in the Mile Square during Hurricane Sandy, so I take everything seriously. I would much rather be safe than sorry, so here are a few easy reminders with how to be prepared for this weekend or any time bad weather is predicted: • charge all do your devices (phone, tablets, battery packs, laptops, rechargeable flashlights or lanterns, etc) • if you need extra water, fill pots on your stove, extra water bottles, etc • have non-perishables available…I’m not saying stock up with a year’s supply, but it’s always good to have some on hand anyway • anchor down or bring objects inside that could take flight with strong winds • know where flashlights, batteries, lanterns, candles, etc are located • follow hobokennj or your town/city’s social media handle for updates I h...
