AMES — Iowa State might not have said its final goodbyes to one of the most beloved point guards in Iowa State history. On Wednesday, several college basketball players were granted a preliminary injunction in the Monroe County Circuit, one of them being Tamin Lipsey. The ruling means that Lipsey would be eligible for the 2026-2027 season for college basketball and could return to Iowa State for his fifth year. Lipsey also has a temporary restraining order against the NCAA, which allows him to participate in workouts and practice with the team.
