I have such a soft spot for little grocery stores in chinatown 🥺 I first went to bangkok center grocery because I wanted to make a thai dish and couldn’t find all the ingredients. The owner was so sweet and helped me find everything I needed. Since then, whenever I’m missing a dish from home, I’ll go in and ask him what to get or how to make it. So far we’ve made larb, yum woon sen, taro sticky rice and more :’) Then I realized they didn’t have a website so I asked if I could make them one for free. As a thai girlie, this one feels extra special to me and I really wanted to do a good job! I’ve been building it with lovable.dev #lovablepartner and trying to keep all the character that made me love the store in the first place. If you’re in nyc, go visit “bangkok center grocery” in chinatown!! They have so many thai ingredients that are genuinely hard to find anywhere else 🇹🇭 now I just have to show him the website
