No. 1 Nebraska closes its nine-match homestand in style. The Huskers sweep Ohio State 25-19, 25-10, 25-12 in front of 10,497 fans at John Cook Arena, improving to 13-0 overall and 2-0 in Big Ten play. Nebraska’s depth showed all night. Five Huskers finished with at least six kills, led by Virginia Adriano, Manaia Ogbechie and Skyler Pierce with seven apiece. Ogbechie hit .667 with seven kills on nine swings, while Pierce added seven kills, two aces and a huge service run in the second set. Bergen Reilly dished out 31 assists, added five digs and was part of four blocks. Olivia Mauch led the back row with 16 digs — her 10th match this season with 10 or more. The defense was just as dominant. Nebraska held Ohio State to a minus-.010 hitting percentage, the eighth opponent the Huskers have held below .100 this season and the second they have held in the negative. NU also recorded 10 blocks for the seventh time this year, with Andi Jackson, Kenna Cogill and Reilly posting four blocks each....
