We often think managing money comes down to having more willpower, but that is only part of the picture. When your inbox is full of offers, your phone is sending sale alerts and your favourite shopping apps are only one tap away, you are being encouraged to spend far more often than you probably realise. The easier it is to buy, the less time there is to stop and think about whether you actually want or need something. That is why one of the simplest ways to protect your money is to reduce the number of times you are being prompted to spend in the first place. Turn off the notifications that pull you back into an app. Remove saved card details if buying has become too automatic. You do not need to rely on willpower every single time temptation appears. Sometimes the smarter move is to remove some of the temptation altogether. A quieter digital space can lead to calmer spending decisions. #FinancialPeaceFriday #FinancialWellbeing #MoneyMindset
