That was the clever idea behind Coca-Cola’s famous “Happiness Factory” / GTA-style advertising campaign from the mid-2000s, which played with the visual language of open-world crime games while turning the usual formula completely upside down.
Instead of the protagonist stealing cars, escaping police and causing destruction, the commercial presents a world where the same kind of gritty urban environment can be used for something completely different.
