US President Donald Trump said five men arrested near a US-used British air base were targeting it for "big damage" and had been under joint US-UK investigation. "The arrest in the UK was fantastic working with Britain. It was an amazing job," Trump told reporters as he arrived in Chicago. "We had them under investigation. They, they were looking to do big damage to our fort. And working with the British, worked out great." Trump did not elaborate on who had been investigating the men or provide evidence for his assertion. Asked by a reporter whether the suspects were migrants, Trump appeared to misunderstand the question and replied: "It may have been Scotland Yard, I don't know."
