Former NFL safety and ESPN personality Ryan Clark is opening up about one of the most terrifying moments of his life, and the story goes far beyond football. During a powerful conversation with Craig Melvin on Glass Half Full, Clark revisited the sickle cell crisis he experienced after playing in Denver, where the high altitude aggravated his condition. He became severely ill, lost his spleen and gallbladder, dropped significant weight, and at one point genuinely believed he was dying. While his mother prayed over him, Ryan began praying too. He prayed for his wife, his children and their futures. He prayed for his own soul. And then he told God, “I’m ready.” He says that immediately afterward, he stopped shaking. Now, years later, he’s navigating another major chapter after ESPN, building new opportunities with Netflix and NFL Films, while also talking openly about fatherhood, faith, resilience and what it means to keep getting back up. #RyanClark #SickleCellAwareness #Faith #NFL...
