First on-court office hours: 2 players. Second: 10 players. This one? 21. Same time as always: 6:59am. And everyone was early. Today’s focus was passing - setting up your teammates, keeping your head up and making the people around you better. It translates well beyond basketball. At @adidas, the @nba, or anywhere in the sports industry, talent matters. But knowing how to work with a team, contribute to a team and help that team succeed matters just as much. Based on what I saw at 6:59 this morning from the @sufalkcollege students, the future of sport is in good hands. And a big thanks to Yulander Wells for joining me on the coaching side—and then taking over the Q&A when every question suddenly went his way. Apparently, I was just there to run the drills.
