At a news conference Friday, New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill announced that Lieutenant Governor Dale Caldwell submitted his resignation. The resignation came after Governor Sherrill called on Caldwell to step down following reported accusations of sexual harassment and violation of the Code of Ethics.
