Gurudev’s SKY Breathing at the heart of a new UCLA study on teen mental health. UCLA researchers studied 174 teenage girls at two Southern California high schools taking SKY Schools, a program that combines social-emotional learning with SKY Breathing. Girls with four or more adverse childhood experiences saw a 7 percent increase in social connectedness, more than their peers and a wait-list control group. The study looked at the SKY Schools program as a whole, published in the Journal of Research on Adolescence.
