When canine research is translated into artwork like this, it provides another way for us to communicate and share important findings to the community. šŸ’›šŸ’™āœļø Our research partner, the uarizona College of Veterinary Medicine Assistant Professor of Human-Animal Interaction Dr. Kerri Rodriguez, and her lab participated in massartboston's science communication and comics course earlier this year. Dr. Rodriguez was partnered with art students Carly Glashauser (carlyjanearts) and Caroline Hu (hudrewthis) who created a comic based on our research study with their lab on the role of #servicedogs for children with autism and their caregivers. And, the work speaks for itself - science and art merging to form an amazing and beautiful communication tool!
